Templer Ten – Sunday 6 November

On a beautiful sunny, but chilly day 7 Coasters took on the Templer 10 multi terrain race at Stover school. The race started and finished at the school along the Templer way and river Teign, through Stover woods with some lovely scenery, but a couple of stiff climbs along the way. First coaster home was Eric in 1:20:59 which got him 2nd vet 60, next was Simon in 1:26:03, then  John which got him 2nd vet 65  in 1:27:43 and   Jan in 1:29:34 which got her 1st vet 60, Amy was next in 1:30:09 then Les in 1:31:47, and Laraine in 1:33:48, all runners received a mug.  Amy’s dad Andy ran in a time of 1:17:01 1st vet 60, and mum Carole finished in 1:47:10

Castle Drogo – Sunday 6 November
Todd was the only Coaster experiencing the 10(ish) miles of hilly, muddy cross-country terrain, also tackling the infamous Hunter's Path hill. I’m sure Todd was too busy running to notice the stunning views, who had a good run and completed the event in 1:24:51

Riviera Rock Run – Saturday 12 November
Simon took part in the Riviera Rock Run on Saturday, this off road 7.5 mile coastal run started and finished at Goodrington sands in Paignton, the 100 runners started and ran the whole length of the beach before picking up the South West Coast Path, hills and plenty of steps were encountered in several parts of the course with tough climbs and plenty of mud in Churston woods and 3 beach sections in all, on a perfect winters day with plenty of warm sunshine. Simon finished the race in 1:14. All runners received a medal.

Sodbury Slog – Sunday 13 November
Described as the Easy Runner Sodbury Slog is quite simply not for the faint-hearted! Forget roads - they're for wimps - this is a lung-busting, trainer-ruining, hill-climbing, multi-terrain challenge held over and through some of South Gloucestershire's most stunning countryside.  Carly completed this epic event in 2:12:26 and that included a wait of about 20 minutes to go through muddy stream, more like treacle than mud

Cornish Marathon – Sunday 20 November
Amy took on the Cornish Marathon it’s Cornwall's only all road marathon, a tough road race which has 1700 feet of climbs, attracted a sell-out field of 450 runners. On a cold blustery wintery day Amy completed the marathon in 4:20:51.  All runners received a medal and hoody
